If you want to drive around the Australian continent, then you need to make sure that your driver's license is in the most current state because if it is not you can seriously get in to trouble just because of that. Although not all Australian provinces require you to re-take the RTA Test, there are still some provinces that will require you to do so. So I really have to say that lucky for you if you live in a province in the Australian coast that will not make take the RTA Test again if you need to renew your driving license. However, if you are not so lucky and you need to take the RTA TEST, then you have little but no choice except to follow that rule in order to renew your license.
